 welcome to Grace Church!
Minimize

Welcome!  We're glad you found us.  Grab a cup of coffee, put on some comfortable clothes, and settle in.  We hope that as you look around on our website, you'll learn more about us and the way we set about worshipping Jesus, God's one and only Son, the Savior of the whole world.  The set of links at left will guide you around the website, where you'll learn more about:

  • Grace UMC's staff
  • Our nursery and Sunday School classes
  • Our beliefs, goals, and missions
  • Opportunities for worship, service, community, and study

If there's something that you want to know that we've forgotten to mention, just let us know.  This website is just as much a work in progress as our relationship with Jesus.  We believe that even though no one is perfect, it's our responsibility as Christians to try as hard as we can to be like Jesus.  Where we fall short, well, that's where the grace of God comes in.  So take a look around, and know that we welcome you to join us on our journey to Jesus on Sunday mornings at 9:30 & 10:45.

Ever wonder what Christians really believe?  There's so much information out there, and there are so many debates.  Sometimes, we just need it boiled down to the basics.  The first Christians, in [some small, small number] A.D. had a similar problem.  So they wrote "creeds", or statements of belief.  These helped believers understand and differentiate life in Christ from all the false gods that surrounded them (and, now, us).  For Christians, try and commit them to memory; it's good to know what you believe.  For people just getting familiar with the faith, consider this your personal (Speedy) Guided Tour.

THE APOSTLE'S CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; he descended into hell; the third day, he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there, he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

AMEN!!

Team Grace raised online $630 and around $220 on site. We walked 334 labs or 83.5 miles all to fight cancer.  This is the most that our team has raised in Relay. We want thank everyone who helped, Josh and Jimi for setup and brake down. Jimi did a 12 hour DJ marathon from midnight to noon. Thanks Kevin for this great video. Thank you to Tracy, Rick, Sheri, Matt, John, Brian, Michelle, Darci and the 13 teens who helped and all walked laps. We want to thank Sara and Bonnie who held down the fort at night. Thank you to Pat who was there at 6:00 am, and Linda who was there till the end. Most of all I want to thank everyone who donated to the team. I calculate about 250 dollars away from our goal of a $1,000. You can still donate on line at Relay for Life Team Grace Church
